One of their notable creations is the Beolit 39, which debuted in 1939 as their first portable radio. With its unique design, the Beolit 39 quickly became a beloved classic. This model also served as the inspiration for the Beolit 12, a portable speaker that marked the start of B&O's revamped line of portable speakers and gained popularity among audiophiles.

Another groundbreaking product in their lineup is the Beogram 4000, B&O's inaugural record player. Notably, it featured a special tone-arm positioning and was even included in the esteemed MoMa design collection, a testament to its innovative design and craftsmanship.

In honor of its illustrious history, the brand is launching an exclusive limited-edition Beosystem 72-23 Nordic Dawn. This exceptional sound system comprises the Beogram 4000c turntable, two Beolab 28 speakers, as well as Besound Core and Beolab transmitter units. This release signifies the company's dedication to delivering cutting-edge audio experiences while paying tribute to its rich heritage.

At the heart of this set lies a custom Beogram 4000c turntable lodged in a beautiful birch wood cabinet. This iconic piece of gear has been improved with contemporary stylish features, including a pre-amp and expanded inputs, ensuring its longevity for years to come. Complementing the turntable are two Beolab 28 speakers, renowned for their studio-quality sound reproduction and powerful wireless stereo performance.

In a nod to both the past and present, this system seamlessly sustains both vinyl playback and streaming capabilities, thanks to the inclusion of the built-in Besound Core and Besound Transmitter units. This allows for an adaptable and immersive audio experience, catering to different likings. Completing the ensemble is the Beoremote Halo, a customizable remote control that delivers convenient access to the system's functions and settings.

With this comprehensive setup, Bang & Olufsen honors the fusion of timeless craftsmanship with modern technology, ensuring an excellent audio experience that mixes the best of both worlds. What is more, with influences from Scandinavian nature, particularly sunrises, the custom versions of each piece of equipment are finished in honey, ginger, and amber aluminum finishes, as well as sleek birch wood. Kvadrat created the custom fabric for the Beolab 28s. Finally, there are only 100 units of the Beosystem 72-23 Nordic Dawn available in the US, Europe, and Hong Kong, and it costs $65,000.
