Ripley: Limited Series

This new TV adaptation of Patricia Highsmith's acclaimed novel promises to captivate viewers. Andrew Scott takes on the complex role of Tom Ripley in this darkly compelling drama. Oscar-winning screenwriter Steve Zaillian adapts and directs all eight episodes, earning early Emmy buzz for his nuanced storytelling. Starring Scott in the part originally made famous by Matt Damon in the 1990 film, this version of The Talented Mr. Ripley promises a psychologically intricate dive into the character. When a wealthy man hires down-on-his-luck Tom Ripley to travel to Italy and convince his son to return home, it sets Ripley on a path of deception that has chilling consequences. This modern reimagining of Highsmith's gripping story premieres April 4 exclusively on [streaming service name].

Fallout: Season 1

Westworld creators Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy take on the post-apocalyptic world of the popular Fallout video game franchise in this eagerly anticipated new series. Based on the trailer, the show looks to have a distinct visual style befitting the unique retro-futuristic tone of the games. And with a star-studded cast led by Walton Goggins, the potential for compelling characters and performances is high. However, translating a beloved gaming universe to live action presents challenges staying true to what made the original property legendary. Only time will tell if Nolan and Joy can honor Fallout's distinct dystopian sensibilities while carving out their own compelling narrative. The series premieres on April 11.

Dead Boy Detectives: Season 1

Fans of Neil Gaiman's intricate fantasy worlds based on his popular DC Comics series Sandman are in for a treat with this new supernatural mystery program. As an offshoot of the iconic series set within Gaiman's vividly crafted DC mythos, Dead Boy Detectives is primed to appeal to devotees of The Sandman hoping for more imaginative tales of the otherworldly. Starring two teenage ghosts who operate a detective agency for paranormal clients, the series promises an eerie yet whimsical story with plenty of room for further connections to The Sandman universe. Premiering on April 25, this program underscores Neil Gaiman's creative gifts and establishes a new mysterious entry point for newcomers to his ethereal storytelling.

Big Lebowski

Cult-classic comedy The Big Lebowski comes to Hulu at the start of April. Jeff Bridges stars as Jeff "The Dude" Lebowski, a laid-back slacker who loves his White Russians and bowling. However, his mellow existence is disrupted when he is mistaken for a wealthy businessman "Jeffrey Lebowski" and dragged into a convoluted case of debt and danger. As the mistaken identity case spirals out of control, the Dude finds himself plunging deeper into Los Angeles' seedy criminal underworld to solve the mystery of a kidnapped wife as thugs, nihilists, and estranged veterans cross his path. Coen Brothers hilarity ensues in this 1998 stoner comedy masterpiece featuring one of Bridges' most iconic roles.

X-Men ‘97

Fans of the beloved '90s X-Men animated series will be thrilled for the premiere of X-Men '97 on Disney+ on March 20th. As a direct continuation of the acclaimed show, it follows iconic members of the team like Cyclops, Wolverine, Rogue, Beast, Morph, Gambit, Bishop and Jubilee as they deal with the fallout from the death of Professor X. Picking up right where the original left off, this new chapter promises all the exciting mutant action and adventure of the first series. An accompanying X-Men '97 comic debuting on March 27th will further bridge the narrative between the two shows. After so many years, the return to this fan-favorite corner of the X-Men universe is sure to delight longtime viewers and new generations of mutants alike.
