Discover the latest luxury builds around the globe

A common thing in real estate building and expansion has to be that creating a luxury high-rise comes with a lot of challenges, especially in the last two years which have been worsened by worker deficiencies, pandemic uncertainties, and supply-chain issues. However, keeping one jump ahead of the other is something that predates these years of troubles and pandemics. This, in turn, has led to new luxurious developments and even more opulence.

In many places, outdoor space stays the perk of the day. As a result, customers pay a bonus to be surrounded by nature in New York. In other parts of the world like Dubai, there are specific features for youngsters and kids like dedicated pools - also luxurious. So let's have a quick look at the latest opulence developments around the world, from London to Miami.

London - The Auria, Notting Hill

The summer in London has been burdened by record temperatures and travel disturbances. However, the city is ready and seems to be back in bustling just like before the pandemic. What's more, a recent report shows that sales transactions have been raising, with people buying expensive homes. In fact, the number of offers accepted on premium houses in July was the highest in the last 10 years.

Developer Catalyst is venturing into a new phase of its Portobello Square expansion, an urban renewal undertaking in Notting Hill. The Wornington Green Estate is designed by Conran & Partners, and it will deliver around 1,000 homes, and new commercial and community spaces. This will be encapsulated in two mansion block-style buildings.

New York - 450 Washington St., Tribeca

Rent prices skyrocket in New York but people are returning to the city and developers restart to attract future buyers with showstopping designs and great conveniences. But with rising interest rates, luxury customers seem reluctant to buy into new buildings, which might have somewhat more risk.

450 Washington, traversing the block on West Street between Watts and Desbrosses roads, offers landlords the Hudson River Park as a backyard. Architectural firm Roger Ferris + Partners refined the construction’s front in French limestone plaster. The building will offer inhabitants a private courtyard and a rooftop patio, but the construction is only predicted to be finished in 2023.

Australia - Port Macquarie, New South Wales

Australia’s property demand encounters a fast drop in prices and studies show that apartments will survive the hurricane slightly better than houses in 2023.

Statistics show that house values for the last three months were 2.2% below the April height but apartments were down just 1.4%. However, people have been looking for houses to move in after the lockdown. As a consequence, apartments are now predicted to recover popularity provided they offer house customers and investors better value for money in an environment of growing inflation and interest rate boosts.

New expansions in Australia have been sluggish to get off the land this year because the island country has not been unsusceptible to the global crisis. But developers have to face distance and struggle with supply chain issues and worker shortages. New developments have the advantage of post-pandemic structure regulations so factors such as outdoor space and work-from-home functionality must be respected.

Port Macquarie evolved into a favorite choice, a little further than a commute away at 242 miles north of the city. A destination for retirees, now drawing younger people who love luxury and work remotely. Residents and investors have been attracted to the famous vacation place due to its laid-back seaside lifestyle. At Salt, there are 15 luxury apartments and a superb penthouse facing the beach. From the delicate curves of its front, designed to reflect the adjoining rolling surf, to its seaside styles and surfaces, Salt is a modern sea escape. The homes benefit from the north-facing exposure to capture the views over the Pacific Ocean and a good amount of natural sunlight.

Miami - Cipriani Residences

The 80-story tower is set to ascend above Miami’s Financial District, with views of the Brickell neighborhood and Simpson Park. The residences will have 10-foot ceilings, glass windows, private outdoor areas, curved lines, great walk-in closets, laundry rooms, smart-home technology, and custom furnishings. The plan is to harness the spirit of the Cipriani brand, which is acknowledged for its refined class, stellar service, and four generations of record. All this - Cipriani's nautical Venetian heritage - will be of course combined with Miami's modern aesthetic. Although completion is predicted by the end of 2025, Cipriani Residences Miami is accepting reservations since March this year and homes began to be under contract in August 2022, overlapping with the project’s full sales launch.
